A Week In My Life

Going back to last Friday, I took most of the day off and went with a friend to the Leesburg Bike Festival. Saturday I went to the Sun n Fun Air show in Lakeland with Arden. Saturday night there was a dance to go to. I have a lot of friends at dance. Sunday morning I got up early and painted some new wood on the house and then it was back to Leesburg. I attached a few pictures, life is good. Sunday evening I went to a Semi Formal dance at the Alaqua Country club. It was very nice but they ran out of food. Monday it was back to work. Monday night it was West Coast Swing class. Boy do I struggle with that. Tuesday work and tuesday night Shag and Foxtrot lessons. Wednesday Work and more West Coast Swing lessons. Today its work and tonight I start bollero lessons. Tomorrow it will be work and tomorrow night another dance class and then dancing at Circa. Saturday will be church and Saturday night is a dance. Sunday morning, a little more painting, then a bike ride and Sunday night "Executive Singles" dance. Its always a good one and happens once every 3 months.

Dinner

Ken and I decided to have BBQ steak and baked potato for supper. We went to Costco, bought the steak, came home put the taters in the oven and about twenty minutes later put the steaks on the grill. Twenty minutes later we had turned 4 steaks into 4 charcoal brickets for the next time we want to BBQ. The Potatoes were great!!

Birthday Dinner, Comedy of Errors

On Saturday, Amanda called me about a Birthday dinner. We agreed that Sunday night would work for all of us. Later I remembered that there was a surprise Birthday dance for a friend of mine. I called Amanda and asked if it would be ok to change our plans to next Sunday. She said that would be fine. A while later I told Kenny and he let me know that Amanda had sent him a text, letting him know she had the Chicken and Ribs for Sunday night. I thought about it for a couple hours and decided to call Amanda. She answered and I told her it would be better to go ahead and switch it back. She told me that was fine and we planned it for Sunday the 29th. This all sound great, now what really happened. When I called Amanda to ask about changing, At that very moment, they had a house full of company that they had invited over to eat my Birthday dinner. My timing was perfect. Chris was taking the meat off the grill. Everyone one there died laughing when Amanda announced my phone call. I blew it but still had a great Birthday.

Antique Boat Show, Tavares

Kenny, Jack and I went to the Sunnyland Annual Boat Show yesterday. It was windy but there were a lot of beautiful boats there. I was most impressed with the restored antique canoes by Michael Grace. They were absolutely beautiful

Last Week Jack, Mom and I went to the Winter Park Art Festival on Sunday. We wanted to see Kim and Rich, my cousins. Rich is a professional photographer and they travel to shows and sell there work. We had a nice visit. I always enjoy and admire their work
